New Phantom Rolls Photos Leaked ahead of Debut Later this Month
Some of you may not think this is “Speed Culture” but I would beg to differ? Who wouldn’t want to own or even ride in a Rolls Royce Phantom? I can tell you I have been in a couple of them and there is simply nothing else like it. And with that V12 engine out front – yes it gets up and GOES. So I digress, those of you who are fans of the now 13 year run of the Rolls Royce (and who isn’t) Phantom will have something new to pine after… a mostly new version.
The photos below are likely our best view yet of the new “Roller” which is scheduled for a reveal on July 27.
The images are supposedly screen shots depicting an online brochure for the eighth-generation Phantom, in Extended Wheelbase form. They were first posted on the website CarNewsChina and show a distinctly evolutionary design.
The outside update may look very familiar but the real beauty is all under the skin. A new unique to the Rolls-Royce aluminum spaceframe architecture is destined for and each of the new upcoming vehicles by Roll-Royce including of course an SUV (yes really). Powering the new Phantom will certainly be a new V-12 engine.
We’ll have more info on the new Phantom in a coming article once it’s released…
